A Noble Company, Volume 3 is well on its way to our target of sending the completed book to the printers by the end of February. If all goes well, we should be releasing the book in May or June. We are very excited about the material being presented in this volume of our Noble Company series - much of which will be new to the reader. This book will contain 22 original essays on notable persons of the eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. They are: Shubal Stearns, Isaac Stelle, James and Ephraim Bownd, Peter Peterson Van Horne, John Davis (of Harford, Maryland), Morgan Edwards, Maturin Ballou, Oliver Hart, Isaac Backus, Isaac Eaton, John Gano, Peter Werden, John Carey, David Thomas, James Potter, Samuel Jones, David Jones, Samuel Stillman, Hezekiah Smith, Andrew Bryan, John Davis (of Boston), and James Manning. We have used a wide variety of contributing historical writers to round out this interesting volume: Peter Beck, William H. Brackney, Jeffrey Brodrick, John David Broome, Hywel M. Davies, Stanley J. Grenz, Walter E. Johnson, Don Moffitt, Thomas J. Nettles, Gerald L. Priest, Thomas Ray, George Truett Rogers, Howard R. Stewart, Earl Waggoner, C. Douglas Weaver, and Terry Wolever. Keep checking back for further updates on our progress.
