Annual Register of Indian Affairs - 1835 to 1838
Isaac McCoy

For the First time these registers are made available in one volume to the public.

Those who are familiar with early American Baptist history, especially the history of missions, will recognize the name of McCoy as one of the most important in our American heritage.

These registers are a treasure of first hand accounts of everything that relates to the Indians of Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. McCoy started the first Baptist church in the Indian Territory and his work is timeless and extremely valuable, though almost unknown today.

The material this book contains predates most of what is available today on Indians. The registers were privately printed, so that very few originals exist. We are honored to make them known. They are essential for any school, college or library whose curriculum contains need of early Indian affairs information or mission work among the Indians.

Particular Baptist Press has made facsimile copies and had them hard bound in green buckram, printed on acid free paper, and completely indexed.
