January special offers - Life and Works of Joseph Kinghorn, V1 (50% off) & Baptist History Celebration (75%)!
7th Jan 2026
Our January special is half off the retail price of The Life and Works of Joseph Kinghorn, Volume 1. That's $12.25 (retail $24.50) plus shipping.
Compiled and edited by our late Editor, Terry Wolever, this 530-page book is the first of a 3-volume set on the life of this man who was a widely known and well-respected figure in his own day, but all but forgotten and usually overlooked by most of the literature dealing with Baptist history and thought. His life and influence are inseparable from the history of the Particular Baptists in England. Kinghorn was an early supporter of William Carey and the modern missions movement, as well as a notable scholar. His ability in the Word was much in demand by his peers and much respected by those with whom he differed. He was considered second only to John Gill in his rabbinical learning and was one of the godliest of pastors.
In addition, take advantage of our latest markdown: Baptist History Celebration has been marked down to $8.25 + shipping! (At 75% off, you save $24.75!) A Tercentenary Tribute to the Founding of the Philadelphia Baptist Association in 1707, Convened at the First Baptist Church of Charleston, South Carolina, August 1-3, 2007.
Hosted by the First Baptist Church of Charleston, South Carolina, and featuring a wide array of participants from various Baptist affiliations, this meeting consisted of five plenary sessions, each session having a portion dedicated to Baptist hymnody, two Baptist profiles on historic figures and a keynote speaker.
