Revelation 20:4-5 “. . .And they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.”
"What did John see? The first resurrection. The other things in this chapter are all things which he had seen previously. The one new vision here is the first resurrection. That is the doctrine. The other things are here because of the bearing this first resurrection has on them, its relation to them."
