Very few people have impacted a group of people for the gospel more than Evan Jones did the Cherokees. He committed almost half a century to this mission endeavor, facing discouragement, opposition from outside forces, attacks from rival leaders, and personal tragedies. ....from the very start and to his dying day, he was committed to the missionary enterprise. He felt that the gospel could change people’s relationship with both God and man. --Bill Sumners
Evan Jones (1788-1872) is the first subject in our latest book, A Noble Company, volume 9, which is due to be released in early June.
