“No one can do the full work of the ministry without love for, and perpetual interest in, children,” wrote George C. Baldwin. Sarah Davis, Mary Lothrop, and Mary Blain represent in our series the children of faith who enrich our lives and adorn our congregations, and without whom we would be much the poorer. Taken home by their heavenly Father when only 12, 6 and 12 years of age respectively, their young lives still speak to us of the rewards of early piety and true Christian commitment. The picture is of Sarah Davis.
